Her love of the guitar began at the age of 9 when Father Christmas brought her a life changing parcel! At 17 she was accepted to study with John Mills at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. During her time there she received tuition from a variety of world class performers, including participating in master classes with John Williams, Antigoni Goni, Nigel North, Simon Dinnigan & Craig Ogden. In 1999 she travelled to Germany to continue her studies at the Staatliche Hochschule fur Musik, Trossingen, with Michael Hampel. Following gaining her BA Music RWCMD and eight years teaching in schools and music centres, she went on to consolidate her experience and was accredited her teaching Licentiate Diploma from Trinity College London in 2009.
